LaShona DeVolld, Director
The Noble Learning Center Director, LaShona DeVolld, has been in childcare for over 40 years. She began working with toddlers when her own children were just toddlers. Her love for teaching babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and school age came out of a desire to make a difference in the lives of children in Noble County and to help parents and caregivers with nurturing the love for learning in their children.
The Noble Learning Center began as a parent co-op in the basement of a local church. After outgrowing this facility she moved to Caldwell High School and Summit Acres Senior Living apts. before finally settling at her current location in Caldwell. She purchased the armory with the blessing of her board and had it remodeled to meet the needs of the growing community of children.
LaShona has her degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and serves on multiple ECE boards throughout the county and the state of Ohio, including the current state ECE board. Her impact on the children of Noble County has served several generations of families.
Heidi DeVolld, Asst. Director
The assistant director of NLC is Heidi DeVolld. She has worked at NLC for the past 22 years. She started out as a teacher assistant helping out in the classrooms. After realizing she had the same passion for working with children, she went to school to earn her Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education as well. Heidi works with the parents looking for financial assistance, proper placement, and enrollment at the center.
